Fuel consumption is easy to work out with a dose pump: it's the dose (0.02ml) times the frequency (off the top of my head, between 1.1Hz on low and 5.5Hz on boost). I was referring to power consumption with regard to the glowplug). Sure they have different sized combustion chambers and heat exchangers, that's what determines the different outputs. But if John's right and they use the same dosing pumps at the same frequencies then their fuel consumption will be the same.

Just to finish my problem off, old pump failed again today with e08 and no or very little fuel exiting pump. Put the new pump on bled it and it’s running fine in fact it’s getting too warm in here, must turn it down...
