Hi , afta reading so many negative reports on about chinese welders , i was wondering if thier plasma cutters have such a bad rep aswell ? , seen a few demo's on youtube etc and they seem o'k' for home use , i mean no wire feed issues etc with a cutter , what do you's all reckon ? , ta..

I have a little 40amp Longevity and like it alot. It was easy to learn and does what I have needed. I mostly cut 1/8" hot rolled steel but have used it for heavier stuff. In fact, I used it to cut a railroad spike in half just to see if I could. It looked like a rottweiler had chewed it in two but I did it! Real friendly folks to deal with. Check them out.

My apologies. Didn't notice that you are in Australia. Just checked the Longevity site and they do not have a dealer in Australia. Again, sorry! Good luck on your search. Plasma cutters are lots of fun!
