The rear bumper on my old land rover disco has developed a mild case of tin-worm, mainly under where the spare wheel hangs.
I'm considering using a strip of chequer plate painted black to repair it cheaply. I need a strip about 135 x 15cm.
However, googling for prices has left me thinking it would cost more than buying a new bumper (new 'compatible' bumper is about £110).
Is this right? I was just wondering if anyone knew of a reasonable supplier or what sort of price I should expect to pay?
Thanks,
Kev.
