Cheapo Lathe light

We were in Ikea yesterday because I have a very cruel wife but I found these lights that look good and could be used as a lathe/machine light, pic attached. They cost £8.50 so got myself a couple.

I modified small one from ikea a few yrs ago. Still works

I have a few of them and are nice wee lights. The one I attached is bigger and more versatile I think. Also can fit a nice bright led lamp.

I have a similar one, but on a weighted base - very useful! :thumbup:

Be aware that it used to be the case that Ikea lamps only used their own bulbs, forcing you to source them there [another visit!
