I always find I get more for my money if I actually go to the local welding supplier. He will sell me rods by weight if I don't want a full pack which often happens.

The FERX 7018LT look good at £10 per packet. MUREX and ESAB are the same firm, the FREX 7018LT will be exactly the same rod as the 48:00 or the 48:04. Phone Esab and ask.
