Copper is heavier than aluminium and not as strong. To the post above, a monopod will be no where near stable enough remember you could be shooting up to 200 yards or further off sticks trying to put a 5.5mm bullet into an area of maybe 50mm diameter
No one has mentioned a monopod?
Also I'm quite familiar with shooting and how difficult it can be...Hence why I am making a stronger set of quad sticks...
Weight is t going to be much of an issue, I drive into the fields and only travel a few hundred yards at a time at night before setting up and calling again. Copper isn't going to weigh me down too much and if I can trade a bit of sturdiness for a bit of weight I am still happy
anything further than about 120 at night and its either taken off a bipod or not taken at all, id be very unlucky to have to take a 200 yard shot where i am
