The only Milwaukee tool I have is the impact wrench, and I must say that it is brilliant.
I've always sworn by Makita based on a couple of drills that I got many years ago which still go fine (how I've not broken my wrist with them I still haven't fathomed) but the impact wrench and the comments I've seen on this forum means that the next power tool(s) I buy are almost certain to be Milwaukee.

This imput has no relevance to the subject other than it's about batteries,,, I have a Hilti driver for years and finally the batteries gave out , went to dealer they investigated and told me no longer available, discontinued,,went on line and found this company that rebuilds old outdated batteries in Ohio USA,, depends on battery on price but mine cost 80.00 each which is good considering the last batteries cost me 98.00 each , so I get to keep my Hilti screw gun because it's also a beast,,,,

Milwaukee batteries fit Facom impact guns. Think they must have some sort of tie up between the companies some how.

In the last three years in a previous life I spent a lot of time in Pittsburgh on business. Flying business and having 100K miles card meant I could bring back up to 3 x 32kg suitcases in my baggage allowance. I used to travel out with one suitcase weighing about 25kg and come back with three all full. Not all tools and not Milwaukee, I used to use Harbor Freight a lot (think Machine Mart on steroids) some stuff was OK, but as I don't use it for a business the light use was fine for their cheaper kit. The number of my air tools increased no end and I also brought back an aluminium trolley jack with a very low entry height for £45! I also used to bring back litres and litres of shampoo for the Clumber spaniels as what I was paying i $ over there I paid in £ over here. Fortunately I stayed at the same hotel and I would order the stuff before I arrived, fortunately they got used to keeping parcels for me!

This week I had a guy on the phone enquiring about Harley rear tyres, 330 x 17 I think, he said cheapest in the UK he could find was £320, I got them from the states and shipped here they were £135 each !!!
