Yesterday,I acquired this bundle at an unbelievable £700/t,no CE certs, from Parker.ooh,it’s like early 2020 again.
I’m predicting it’s starting to fall in price generally.
Mate told me that scrap metal price has fallen from £300/Tonne back to £100/Tonne - and that of scrap price is collapsing then steel & pretty much everything else (cept taxes, food, leccy and fuel I suspect) is contracting also.
Suppliers have started ringing him to chase orders, while he suspects that some are starting to discount - to shift stock for fear of being stuck with stock bought in at higher cost with sales drying up and prices falling.
It's been a lot longer coming than I and many others thought... but the fall might the a bigger crash when it hits.
