Not that old then..... as my dads' was all diecast metal casings

This one is so old it uses a thread and nut bigger than what is now standard (14mm?). Weighs so much it has a metal hook for a spring balance

They are good but the blades cost too much money for decent ones I use the Milwaukee torch ones and they don’t last for how much they cost. Good if you have to use one but grinder is usually better for almost everything. Good on wood and stuff but they are definitely a rough tool for demolition mainly nothing tidy

I've a Bosch 18v one that I run on Makita LXT batteries using an adaptor. It's one of those tools I hate using but I keep it for the rare occasions where nothing else will do.
