Cheap partition

We need a cheap way of partitioning off a section of the workshop so it's easy to keep warmer, not plaster board etc as its in short supply, I thought of old doors to make a wall, but has anyone got any better ideas.
Oh its must be free or cheap

Pallets, join em together, fill in the blank spaces with wood from kore pallets and fill the void with what ever you can

Got big doubled up hessian sheeting for nowt, use that pegged up against the seldom opened steel garage door, makes a big difference keeping the draughts out and the warmth in

pallets gets my vote stuff the gap with insulation or polystyrene.
I just saw the guys where our horses are build a entire work shop from old garage doors they collected for scrap

Hang an old carpet remnant up, normally find them dumped at the side of the road or down a country lane

Sorry I forgot to mention we need to hang stuff from it too so Pallets is a good idea i will have to press winchgirls van in to service before I finish the conversion as an 8x4 will fit in the back

pack it at base use joiners on the outside

fill with fibre insulation

You can get a bale of rock wool for sod all. I think the last one I bought was under £30 at Jewson. Was just before rona mind…..

Take the back seats out of a Peugeot 106 and you can get 5 or 6 Euro pallets in the back - more if you are prepared to go above the side window line . . . but braking hard might result in you being jammed hard against the windscreen . . .

I just love the challenge of doing it for free, the £60 rock and roll bed springs to mind spent £60 on cushions and fixings ( wood was free pallets) as a temporary job whilst winch girl saved up for a proper one, sold it for £175 was absolutely inundated with people wanting it!
But it must have took 2 days and our entire workshop to build it
