Unfortunately so.. seems 6" cutting discs are like rocking horse poo. I've just spent a morning having folks look at me like I've asked them for a lightly grilled salamander... The best answer was to get a 9" grinder and when the discs are worn to a suitable size put them on.
I'll have to follow another path on this now- I can't have kit that's quite as useless.. I've got some solar panel frames to make for a friend and a camper bed to make for me, and I'd rather not cut all that up with the little grinder...
So folks - once again, moral of the story - if something's cheap it's not necessarily worth having..

I had a similar problem with my Aldi table saw. The blade was slightly smaller than standard size. I ended up getting one a mm or so bigger and grinding a bit off the riving knife bracket so it would fit.
