Cheap 3D scanners?

I went ahead and bought a used one on ebay today. A Revoscan pop 2 3D scanner looking forward to it arriving

I will be scanning small, medium and large car parts with it and this one looked ideal for my needs.

What did it cost? I am toying with the idea of selling mine but have no idea of its value.

My lad used his phone to take loads of photos of an organic object then ran them through the free version of 3DF Zepyhr as recommended by @JMS1972 I think it was.

One trick we found quite good was that if you were missing detail and the object was nominally symmetrical, you could create images of the "other side" by simply using any picture program to mirror the image. Then use those in 3DF Zepyhr. Handy if you'd photographed the part remotely and didn't have it to hand.

For tweaking the resultant mesh he used Meshmixer.

I paid £260 for it used. Seems to be the "pro" kit or something like that with the carry case which was extra when they were new.

Do you mean you have the exact model or another type for sale?

Same model. Came in a cardboard box though.
