cheap 1/4 hex drive ratchet

normaly i dont buy cheap market stall tat but saw this and took a 2 quid punt. i chucked it in the toolbox at work and a week later i needed it to unscrew a heater off the wall and couldnt get a dumpy screwdriver in as there was only 2 inch between the heater and sink to undo the screws . this fit the bill nicely so not all crap make tools are useless

I have been meaning to get one of the since I borrowed one at work a wile ago, beets the 1/4" spanner and a cable tie, witch only leads to sore fingers.

I had one of those and it was useful but didn't like to be overworked and fell to bits in protest

I've one similar to that (without the handle) and one with hex socket one side and 1/4 socket drive the other. They've both got me out of the proverbial a few times.

I've got a half inch ratchet by Deltec, looks very similar was all. Cheapy brand but has nice swept handle and is lasting so far.

I have had some thing similar for ten years or so, not used very often but a real get you out of trouble tool when you need to work in a tight place. (could have just hit the like button)

hmmm...iv,e had about three of them(poundland now sell them)they are not very thin,the ratchet is coarse and very tight on the backswing,and they tend to fall apart,ok for limited use(flat pack furniture springs to mind)i now use a micro 1/4 ratchet or ratchet spanner adapter ...

i only need it for the 1/4 hex screwdriver and small torx bits at work for getting in tight spaces so it should last

this ones a" topeak" used a lot by cyclists..i,ve seen a few similar "makes"

I have a great armeg set that has screwdriver bits and sockets too, that has got me out of the brown stuff more times than I can remember. Wouldn't be without it and use it nearly every day! Great set and about £25 iirc!
