Chassis enamel paint black

Hi all.

Had a good look through passed posts on enamel paint and my question is what brand have you used and advise is most welcome.

So it's for chassis parts and black is my colour of choice. All parts have been media blasted and juton 87 epoxy used.

Enamel paint I would like and it's not that expensive. I see various brands are available labled as machinery, tractor, and chassis paints.

More than likely I be painting by brush. I can also used compressor spray gun if needed.

I bought a 1 litre tin of black paint in Aldi. It does not claim to be enamel but says it is "rust protection and varnish in one". That is really nice paint - good to use (brush) and good to look at, and I suspect it was a good price too. Produced in Germany for Aldi.

i use the aldi stuff when being cheap , although do they still sell it ?

mostly now i dust em over with satin 2k , not what you asked for but tough and its dry and ready to fit the next day not sticky like air drying

rustoleum is okay too , but the price off it plus it goes off once opened makes me want 2k , it can sit there years no bother

Tractol black is very good and goes on nicely by brush or spray.
