I've upped the spec. to 100 volts / 33000 MF.
Let's see if it works, as most caps of this size are either new Chinese, secondhand or old stock...
It might be prudent to 'run it in' gently due to oxides forming, I've read. I'm hoping this could be achieved powering up on the lowest voltage setting for a few minutes, then resting / repeating.
I think the original had been dead for decades. It was connected with reversed polarity.
