Recently i installed 3 lots of Dahua CCTV all were 4 way NVR and two 4k 8mp poe cameras, only to find out the recorder was not capable of running well with two cameras, the technical support was not much help but eventually they pointed out the mistake, new NVRs are being delivered tomorrow , I will try and post some pictures and footage the only good news is the first install caught a crime leading to an arrest as it was running on 1 camera, but i am on the lookout for a new supplier.

thats not good faulty recorder ?

just becareful what you post online best not to post the crime details until after the court case

None of the recorders were really faulty the were just not up to the job the new ones are supposed to be able to handle 8 channels of 8mp 4k recording and yes I would never post footage of an on going case, but some test footage may be good to see how things have moved on in cctv terms.

Bit of an update, the person caught on camera has been given a nice fine for breaking conditions set on them and warned next time it will be 3 months holiday with all meal thrown in and here are a few picture from another 4k 8mp unit we went out to fit tonight, the 1st pic is straight off the tv on playback and the others are just zoomed in on from that image

depending on there conditions if theyve broke them why arnt they locked up

They play the game and know if they say the right things it can save them from lock up but this person just got a fine of almost £1000 so i suspect he will end up locaked up for failing to pay that.
