Had a dipole in the early days had to use nylon kite string as guy ropes as the wind would snap it at the basejust make a dipole out of a length of co-axial cable 108inchs comes to mind
had one in my flat used as horizontal dipole worked brilliant

Yeah had a beep on a rig like the cobra 148 but for the life of me cant remember the make, it was an add on where the pa switch or similar was used for the beep the make of rig is driving me mad nowdid u have a roger bleep on your rigand a switch so u could turn it off then change your voice and slag people off and they wouldn't know it was u -cos they thought u had the bleep
