Do people still use cb's? I thought everyone stopped using them in the late 80's.
Have you had any luck getting the ‘app’ to reprogram it to work?I have a TYT 9800 in the pickup, technically not a CB but can be used on FM
I have a 2m/70cm radio in the van, much smaller antenna and more useful for work
I’ve got one, I want to be able to tee it into the stereo speakers and have it take priority over the musicIf I’ve read this right you want a cb with a 3.5mm speaker jack in the back? If so they’re available. I have a nice one in my truck that I use daily. I run it off the built in speaker but my colleague has his wired to speakers.
We use them when off-roading, and when running road run eventsDo people still use cb's? I thought everyone stopped using them in the late 80's.
I too got mine from there two years ago. We use them at events and whilst green laning I run a powered aux speaker on the dash so I can hear it over the 200tdi rumble!I get all my cb related stuff from a company called "Thunderpole".
They're based near Northampton and sell everything to do with radio communications such as 2 ways and amateur radio, and they're very nice helpful folk .

Thunderpole are pretty good folks to deal with...
@Migmac - I’ve just got one of those to go in the truck I’m building but wiring loom is still a work in progress so it will be a little while until I’m able to see how good it is!
