My pal's collie just has to hear Sir David Attenborough's voice on the telly and he'll run from another room and stand with his his nose to the set, occasionally looking round the back. No other voice on the box has that affect on him, all the more surprising as collies are very smart - you'd think he'd have learned.

The Lodger is a bit confused. It’s not the weekend, but lots of parked cars, and strangely, no people. Also his mates all seem to be staying home, to be spoiled rotten by their normally at work servants

This bugger.
Last night (4AM) he wakes me up when he noisily enters through the cat flap and starts meowing loudly. I find him under the kitchen table with a dead mouse.... Sigh not the first time! But this is the first time I've seen him bring in a dead mouse that's got it's head stuck in a mouse trap.
