There’s been a young black cat (maybe a year old(ish)) dotting about the place for a couple of months now. Today, he/she decided to come into my house (bloomin’ cold outside).
My cat isn’t too bad with it, but he’s a grumpy old man if his naps get disturbed. Unfortunately, the wee one either wants to play, or cuddle, or chase martians, Toby doesn’t.
9 hours later, s/he’s finally just left for home. Toby sighed with relief.
I fear he may come back, so how do I tell Toby we may have a lodger.

in our back garden once, our old cat Brian (who was a domesticated farm cat and would tackle just about anything, within reason!) was looking out of his cat flap and then looking at us, then out of the cat flap then back at us, not knowing what to do
