I thought everybody knew,

Horrible weather here today so my missus and me didn't have the heart to kick our two out into the cold & sleet/snow, so we left them asleep. One on the settee and the other on our bed, I popped home at lunchtime to see if either wanted to go for the loo etc but neither had moved as much as a whisker. They were still in the same positions when we came back at tea time.

Too true. Bertie (18 yrs) climbed in under the duvet around 3 o’clock and just surfaced for a feed after 5 hours. Mrs heard a row around 5 o’clock to find our other 3 year old black & white cat whacking the lump in the bed!

u were lucky my dead present was a Pidgeon the dog caught on take off. he took it upstairs without us noticing the door was open and ragged it on the white bedroom carpet 
an hour later and a lot of scrubbing and a carpet shampoo and managed to get it cleaned up was a rabbit last month on the rug

A sad story here, my parents cat got run over last night, neighbor found him on the road. He wasn't my cat but he was a sociable cat and my boys liked to play with him, he had extra toes too:

We are having a 11 week old kitten on Friday 
Long haired black and white male which we are calling Hugo.
We already have 4 cats (plus two dogs) and not long ago it was 5 cats but one died. At our age (60 & 61) we decided that this would be last chance to sensibly have a kitten. That doesn't mean we won't have older rescue cats in the future.
We had our first cat after being married just a week in 1980. Since then there has never been a second without at least one in our lives. The most we have had at any one time was six along with three dogs. Over they years we've had 14 cats and every one has been precious.

One of my cats catches squirrels and eats them. I found an intact head and tail still connected together via a spine that didn't have a speck of flesh on it ! Wood pigeons seem to be the cats favourite and again they get eaten rats get left intact though.

Lilly is the grey tabby stretching out
Mosi is the bigger of the two tabbies - poppy the smaller one next to her
Treacle is a tortoiseshell- but camera shy.
All are indoor cats, with varying health or behaviour issues, but they are all lovely cats.

One of ours has had a little accident, he's cut the pad of his paw and it's got an infected abscess, it's all been cleaned out and bandaged and he's now on a course of antibiotics, apart from the fact he's fed up at being kept in and trying his best to chew the bandage off he's doing okay.
