Can anyone help me with this. I bought a pair of wings for my Escort made by Embo. The black paint that coats them is very hard and well applied, the sticker on the wing states cataphoric which I believe to be quite a good protective paint process and it is hard to rub off. Would it be best to leave this on? I know that some of the black paint that panels come with rubs off really easy and is only for storage protection. Thanks

yeah the proper factory applied stuff is good stuff , key it up and prime on top as normal

Thanks, these are pattern panels but they are quite good. When I picked them up from the shop and asked the lad behind the counter he said take the coating off, but you can almost tell by the finish and hardness of it that it is meant to stay on and the sticker on it said cataphoric. RESULT

yeah the cheap n nasty stuff usualy scratches off with your finger nail , you will soon see if its stuck well when you give it a sand up
