This is @brewdexta aka Andy's Fixed Steady. Broken before he took ownership, the piece long lost. He whittled a bit of qtr plate to suit, I did the gluing.
1.6mmm Multistike tungsten
10lpm
On the pedal so around 50-80ish amps
1.6mm Sif No8 rod.
First a few tacks


Problem was the torch head wouldn't fit inbetween the webbing so I had to bend the tungsten a little, I fired it up on the bench and then quickly bent it with some grips. Had to turn to gas upto 10lpm for 5.


Then the tedious task of weld a bit wait a bit

weld a bit....


You could hold your hand on the part almost straight after each stitch the temp was so low. Waited untill it was cold before carrying on with the next.
