yes they are brand new off of @ArclikeharrypotterOn the larger clamps I have I tend to ‘bump’ them in the direction I want the jaw to go as the spring can be a bit tight. Is this new as that can make them a bit more difficult to move
undo the t handle a bit more ,,, they sort of click down the notches ,, probably just the paint stopping you as they are new ,,, once you do it once you will wonder why it didnt work the first timeyes they are brand new off of @Arclikeharrypotter
Sorted cheers guys needed a extra shredded wheat lol. Just needed to angle the jaws the right way on the bar

and put a nut and bolt in the ends ,,, you have been warned ,,Put the bar on the floor and push in and down with the ball of your hand....
They give a lovely pinch if you get caught up.
They get easier as time goes by, take the jaws off the bar and push the spring in a bit when they start getting lose.
Yeh I can see where you are coming from thinking a d shackleand put a nut and bolt in the ends ,,, you have been warned ,,
ive about 12 of them ,, and theres a hole in every one.Couldn't be doing with that, if they're that lose they need something to stop them falling off it's time for a new spring.
Mine have been bent, snapped, new springs, but never felt the need for a bolt myself.
