Carrier bags

I used to go to Asda every other day (on foot) but now we have to pay for bags I go every day and carry what I can put in my pockets, sometimes twice a day. So I'm saving the environment and keeping fit at the same time!

Do you pay for the stuff that fits in your pockets?

Some years ago Netto withdrew baskets from our local store and people were stuffing their pockets and holding as much in their arms as they could. I'm sure loads of stuff got "forgotten" an the checkout. It wasn't long before the baskets were reinstated.

I used to have my own trolley and take it shopping in the big van, We just pushed it all the way to the kitchen door when we got home, saved loads of hassle. Now i have a smaller motor i have those really nice Waitrose shopping bags to bring the food home in from home bargains....i have to keep up appearances

I went in to the cake shop and they had a board up saying how much they had collected for charity with the carrier bags . about £6 grand next question WHAT CHARITY reply the great north ambulance good as I don't normally give to charity's of unknown destination and who take big cuts
