This may be of use to the other small time solo workers / crafters / designers here like me...
I've discovered that cheapy carpet shops bin the cardboard inner tubes the carpet roll feeds off, think of a giant bog roll, about 5" diameter & about 10 ft long. Strong stuff & potentially good for rolling up drawings in or using as packaging for mail order stuff. (Cut down to size with a saw). Also they seem to bin a lot of carpet remenants, which I find useful for preventing ratchet straps scuffing newly painted work on the way for site installation.
I feel a Nobel prize coming my way. Probably posted in said carpet bog roll.
