should have got a compressed air one. mines ingersol rand. small powerfull virtualy zero speed up to god knows what . a must have tool
Garryson are about the best burrs at the cheaper end of the market, dormer do a nice set of universal burrs for about £50.
Personally, I don’t think you can beat Pferd burrs. They’re expensive. £20-30 a burr. But they outlast every thing else and that adds up.
I’ve not snapped a single burr. I’ve snapped Dormer and Garryson.
Pferd do a Nitrided/Coated burr and they stay sharp a lot longer. They also don’t clog on aluminium.
They do material specific burrs which are the mutts nuts.I will look those up and try one.
Better off with a compressed air one, no inertia and dead man's switch.I HATE my die grinder! It’s the grabbiest thing I’ve ever used and it scares the cr4p out of me! Honestly I’m terrified of it! So many times I’ve picked it up, plugged it in and just packed it away without even turning it on. Then It’s out with the files and I’ll do it the long way!
I had a brand new spare one, never even opened the box and I just gave it away to @Pete. so glad to see the back of it!
I’m gonna try a Pferd grinder next with a long neck to hold on to.Better off with a compressed air one, no inertia and dead man's switch.
They really aren't THAT dangerous though
I've always had Pferd, they are expensive but the INOX ones do everything I want them to do. They can snatch something fierce, though...

I needed some burrs so I made the guy an offer on the 14 piece set for £35. Should keep me going until retirement (at least..)Had a quick search old emails, my scary one is this, and cost me a fiver a few years ago. The teeth are very deep and agressive, guess it needs much higher speed.

Anyway this set might do what you need. Id say massively overkill tho as I have only snapped a small one in 10 years. They do not wear out.

Chinese set is cheap, but cut looks agressive. I might try a set.
