Caravan shower tray liner repair.

Just back from my latest sojurn with my caravan. Never seem to get away without having something to fix on my return. This time it was the insect screen on the shower roof vent.
I was just finishing the repair when I chanced to notice the recess where the bifold door seats has cracked. Ive had a crack in the shower before & sealed it ok with some acrylic adhesive I bought off Ebay. That was on ly a hairline crack, this is much worse with some parts of the crack open a couple of mm.
What I need is not just a glue but something which also “fills” the crack in the acrylic liner.
Anybody recommend a product that would fit the bill.

I believe the caravan industry quality mantra is 'it's almost adequate' although sometimes they do fail to meet this target. If you ever see them being made you will wonder why you do not have more things to repair!

The liner is acrylic, sure a polyurethane sealant will stick ok?

I had a crack in a caravan shower tray so I asked the dealers technical team. They told me a particular Sikaflex but it was back in 1995 so I cant remember which one.

I guarantee it will be the dearest one . I don't know how sika get the prices for their marine stuff.

That stuff will stick anything,even dyes your fingers,i'm using it on car panels and its held up rather good than i expected,its a glue as well as a filler

araldyte is just as good for sealing baths. should be good enough for most things

I have seen a few glued back together then spray painted white looked like new

Already have some of that I bought to fix the hairline crack & it worked great. As mentioned this crack is upto 2mm wide, Tensol seems to work best when the crack hasnt opened up.

30 will seal a big crack you can also use novasol 7000nc 25 which on a shower would work better as it's for cast acrylic
