i got a henry water one made a great job of daughters car smells like a new car it never smelt bad in there but old and uncleaned

did do it on a fair day left car open the rest of the day it was dry in the morning

Lidll have a carpet shampoo called Adrit (I think) & it's quite good. But if you're going to use a wet & dry hoover make sure the product you use to clean the seats is non foaming. If it foams up inside the waste tank on the hoover it gets sucked into the motor & then BANG, it's new motor time!

I have a Karcher valeting machine & you would not believe how much dirt comes out of car upholstery, even if it looks clean. If I just want to do a spot clean I have some carpet shampoo mixed in a spray bottle, I spray it on let it soak, scrub with a brush then suck it out with a w&d hoover.
But there is an important bit most people miss - repeat the process at least twice using plain hot water, this rinses out any remaining soap & dirt. After all you wouldn't sponge wash your car bodywork & not rinse it afterwards!

If you want a proper cleaning take the seats to a car valeting place, they should only charge a few ££ for shampooing 2 seats, especially out of the car. At most it will only be 1/2 an hours work.

The worst thing to get out of car seats is Jack Russel hair! It manages to weave itself into the fabric!
After years of struggling to clean hire cars - even using tweezers - I have found the solution. Also great for getting wood fibres out of the boot carpet.
A knobbly rubber brush.

Dog hair is indeed hard to remove but there is something that is impossible to remove - glitter!
One night I collected my ex & her mate from a party in my Legacy Turbo. Her mate wore a glittery dress & ever since then the back seat has had glitter on it, no matter how often it has been hoovered or shampooed.

I use Autosmart Brisk, cant fault it, G101 isnt for fabric but removes oil stains etc
