I am not that against part worns - I have taken car tyres from one car and fitted them to my own car. I am a car mechanic - nobody does "make to and mend" better than me!
What I don't like about bought in part worn tyres is how they stretch/pack them to reduce volume when shipping.
I would not sell part worns to the general public - I just would not!
They do this so they can get three times more into a shipping container.

I'd never have imagined such was possible, never need a practice being used.
I wonder how they get them out again? Using hooks of some sort which could inflict further carcass damage or deformation?
