Hi everyone,
I have recently bought a 2016 Ssangyong Korando with just 19000 miles on the clock in near perfect condition. At the moment there is no rust on the underbody except on some suspension components however I had looked at older examples of this car and a loy of them had corroded quite badly. Of course this is something I would like to avoid on my car, a friend of mine recommended using bilt hamber wax in the cavities, but I am not sure what to do about the exposed areas. Having done some research to my knowledge there is 4 possibilities: stone chip paint, underseal, underbody wax and oil based systems. Advice on what might be the best option would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Mr V
