Easy solution to that is make it just high enough that it is uncomfortable for her to reach easily........

Wouldn't work with mine.
She's well aware of the Pulley, the Lever and the Inclined Plane. She seems to have absorbed by osmosis those dinner table conversations my three boys and I used to have.

I would just be 'encouraged' to add a pulley and a cleat.


I could probably get away with adding a Bluetooth controlled winch, though......................

i had thought of the lean too but its too far and runs the risk of high winds and needs good support for both the roof and the side wall

so dropping back to a garage form is better

whilst the galvanised post is worth it due to no rotting of the posts

an open sided car port is not classed as a building but an enclosed one is classified as an outbuilding thats a council reference

So Ive just looked back at the original post, with the picture. Having given it some thought, the forum is failing miserably, car port my rse….look closely….build new shed over the top of the original as far out as the log store and to incorporate the jag parking. Once built remove the old shed and pour new decent floor.
