doesnt have oneMAF?
yeah good call does point toward it...ive had it all off several times now , nothing from spraying carb cleaner around the joints etcLeak in inlet manifold or throttle body gasket? Vacuum hose leak?
none of that ...vents to air , i mean a catch canCrankcase vent (regurgitation thing)
A compression test alone won't do that. A second compression test with 1/2 tsp of oil to seal the rings can tell of it is rings / bores or something else.
how so what would i look for ...might struggle though as im working aloneHi, Yes and watching how the pressure builds up will tell you if it's valves.
Colin
Those are grouped close enough to be ok.
TBH watching can't tell you AFAIK. A burnt valve, a slightly leaking valve and a valve sealing under pressure behave differently. Oil will say it's not rings/ bore, all it then says is it's above that, you can even have a head gasket failure between cylinders.
If the valves were leaking enough to mater I would expect the compression to be well down.does the pop pop suggest to you valves ? ive never had a car with bad valves so im in the dark
the fair compression test results suggests to me rings are ok
