Car electrical connectors.

I need two new wiring connectors for my boys R57 09 BMW Mini rear lights, they've melted the earth wire, it seems a very common fault and no new spares available that I can find.
I remember @premmington posting of a place that specialise in automotive electrical parts but can't remember who they are.
Can anyone shed some light?

Had the same issue with the BMW 3 series. Got the new connector from Amazon

It'll be Auto Click.
I've always found them helpful, and if you can't find what you're looking for, then send them an email with a couple clear photos of the connector (side, and terminal side with any locating tabs).

Worth mentioning that they shut over Christmas/New Year, so you won't get any response until next year.

Wit most melted earth wire connectors we used to hard wire the earth directly to the circuit board, usually using a 6" length of thicker wire, sometimes there was a male spade, sometimes we drilled a small hole and used a short self tapper, you will find that the bulb holder has burnt terminals as well as the melted terminal block on the loom, the cause is two fold, plated steel components and the earth wire spade being the same small size as the lives, foot on brake, indicators on, in reverse, that is a lot of current through a tiny earth spade....................

In the absence of new connectors, I would bring the earth lines out and use a separate connector for them alongside.

Yep exactly this^

I've temporarily soldered a 8" lead onto the loom and then directly onto the circuit board. The lights are better than ever on that side and the opposite side looks dim now
I found a pair of brand new old stock genuine R57 rear lights on eBay for £35 delivered! That includes the bulb holders and even the bulbs.
Kin bargain if they turn up...

I've repaired the ones on my Punto.
Pulled the spade out cleaned, pushed in without damaging the bulb holder.
Replaced the female ground connector on the wire loom and then the plastic connector without cutting the original harness.
I'm not afraid to work on everything on cars but when the job is on the wirings, I avoid to cut or make strange connections.
Cars catches on fire for three main reasons
80% vandalism
18% damaged or modified wirings
1.9% combustibles leaks on hot part (fuel, oils)
0.1% busted conrod causing the up above

As Memmeddu said, but i soldered a wire directly too the track and used a pair of red bullet and socket too make removal easier
