Car dismantling - how far can you go?

I can't see the pic either but this is as far down as you can get an MX5

My Vitara also only goes down that far. My Suzuki Samurai (next project ) let's you dismantle the engine bay and the windscreen and B pillars but you still end up with the bottom half of the cabin which won't dismantle further.

In my youth I purchased a MKIII Triumph Spitfire that was in bits, the owner was storing inside an old church, took several of us to manhandle the chassis and body out. It was one of them jobs that there were several permutations as to how it came out but only 1 was the right one and the guy couldn't remember how he got it in there

The Kawasaki was a project of mine from a few years ago. It was stripped in the garage, the frame got powdercoated and then built up in the kitchen over the winter
Getting it out was "fun" (3-point turn, then around a couple of tight corners, along the hall and out the door down the steps)

A mate did similar in an old trerrace, rebuilt a BSA C11 in the upstairs bedroom but couldn't get it down the narrow stairs when it was finished. It looked smart tho'

I had a Vauxhall Tigra fully built in my living room. The only issue was it was the neighbours mothers and she had gone forwards instead of reversing out of the parking bay outside my house.
On the plus side I didn’t have to do the front garden for a while and my shed got a large double glazed plastic window. Downside staying at the mother in laws for a few weeks while House repaired.

The car in question was an 80s Mazda 323 though.

You will probably find that once you start stripping it the chassis will fall apart due to rust!
