I've found what I think is a dangerous electric buggy charging lead/socket on a site last week, I removed it and reported it to one of their managers, the sxxt has hit the fan now as they can't use the buggy
I can't find any regulations on how deep the live parts of the socket should be but I'm sure it should be deeper than this!


Yes that's mains voltage just under my thumb in the top picture.
I've searched for the standards on 60309 "commando" type industrial sockets but can't find anything on how deep the live pins should be.
This comes from a £20k + electric buggy they use around site so it's not some cheap ebike, it's predictable made in China and according to the literature it came with it has "European compliance"
Does anybody have any knowledge on this subject to help me?
