i like canals,am all for preserving them and expect users to pay ,however,today I’ve priced a angular sign displaying an A1 size plaque showing historical information and images,sticks out the ground waist height,then rises at an angle,but it weighs 440kg without the plaque? Galvanised and painted,it’s not going to rot this side of 100 years 15mm thick angle posts plus curved braces,which I’ll have to fabricate from 15mm bar as it’s too heavy for the usual bending company i use and the likes of barnshaws won’t work with my fag packet drawings.
