I want to plumb in my compressor and create some dog legs as Malcolm Vardy has on the main site. Was going to use copper when I came across this style of fitting. Uses plastic tubing and would be whole lot easier to work with.

Any reason not to ? All the specs say it will handle the pressure.
I currently have 1/4 in fittings. mix of Euro and standard British ( what ever they are technically called).
I am thinking of choosing a 3/8 internal ( 16mm) diameter set up. They do come in 1/2 inch but in the end I need to connect it to the compressor and the water traps , gun etc and from what I can tell 3/8 is a much more common size.
Is 3/8s a big compromise from 1/2 ? I know for HVLP etc 1/4 inch on long runs will be a problem.
Thanks.
Dave
