For once, no. Been off it for a week now, mainly cos I can't face getting up for the current borrowed dog (niece's who is away for two weeks) at 5am with a hangover.

BTW, the dog is why I know I felt like crap at 5:15 this morning!

I wouldn't imagine it's anything lasting, but like one of the other posters here, ended up using the "emergency" rods out of the van on a job once, think they must've been free in a packet of cornflakes. In any case I got a lungful of the minging smoke coming off them and I felt rough as a bears arris for a couple of hours

Welded loads with no masks and never had any ailments. Welded galv loads of times with no mask and only been poorly twice so it's maybe just a thing you get used to
