Oh... for the record I like @Erie Fred a lot - we once swapped a few PM's about the big great lakes he lives near - was interesting for someone who lives in East Anglia.... Biggest thing we got here is duck ponds we don't even have reservoirs here in the flat lands/fens - just the murky North Sea.

I recall seeing Clarke around, I think it was sold thru some outlets.
Probably re-badged Chineasium like Harbor Freight.

I understand that part. However I cannot find parts. The mig pauses when welding. It kinda stops and starts. I was wondering if it was a rebranded mig. If so I could buy the parts from the name brand. IE I found out that the prospot migs are rebranded Cebora's!

The hesitation could either be in the wirefeed or in the switch-on and startup of the DC welding power.
For the wirefeed, it might be possible to observe the wire drive roller, and see if it starts immediately you press the torch trigger.
Try holding the roller with a gloved hand to check if you get consistent torque from the motor.
Maybe the tension on the wire spool spindle brake is just too high?
For a power issue, listen to the contactor - and the gas valve. Do they respond instantly to pressing the torch trigger?
Contactors can get jammed by magnetic grinding dust attracted inside.

Has the welder done a lot of work? Perhaps the motor brushes are worn.....

You could check the motor by itself with an alternate supply - for example a 12v battery. Disconnect one of the two wires from the motor terminals and jumper a 12v supply to the motor. Check if the motor runs immediately, has adequate torque, and does not hesitate.

Proper machine....my Google suggests FRO is Fabbriche Riunite Omssigeno......which is Italian and became SAF-FRO - then part of Air Liquide. And there are current results showing for https://www.euroshl.com/saf-fro/....
Anyones guess as to whether they can help with such an old machine though
