Hi, had my car painted in 2 pack but want to change colour to an enamel. Will it react. Thanks
You have just rained on my parade. I've just stripped a metal drawer cabinet with 54 drawers in and I was going to spray it in BRG satin pu military enamel. I wanted to actually use the cabinet but you've worried me now. What would you recommend as a painting sage please? Bearing in mind I don't have breathing apparatus and when I last sprayed 2k I was able to hold my breath for 3 minutes. Now at 72 I can only manage 1 1/2 minutes.I suppose I'm lucky I'm still breathing2k can be oven cured in 20minutes or air cured in a out 48hrs. Enamel doesn't ever cure

Everyone is a sage to me if they know more than I do. Any help is very welcome. I was going to line the drawers with hardboard to give some protection to the paint.the negative comments were based on the fact that Sean is painting a vehicle that would stand outside
that said I have found that enamel does chip and scratch easier than 2k/cellulose car paints so it might depend on what you are storing in the cabinet but you can also touch it in easily if you do have an accident
just give it a decent amount of time to get hardish before abusing the cabinet or even putting the drawers back in
Edit: I am not a painting sage so feel free to ignore me
