I have seen TV programs from the UK, I see farm tractors and backhoes being driven on the public roads.
Over here we need an "SMV Triangle" on back.
Some places need a "Special Mobile" plate & registration, see these on backhoes driving in the city.

I thought mobility scooters sub 4mph didn't have to be registered.
Only if goes between the 4mph and 8mph bracket need registering.

Personally would almost mount the 3rd caster wheel and a buddy seat, that way then can use it for driven Barrow and just enjoy floating around.

Dunno. Can’t remember off hand but it isn’t one.

They are a **** nightmare. Even the most anal traffic boys won’t stop them unless it’s life or death.

There’s loads of variables- wheelplan, unladen weight, KW, speed limiters. It’s just an absolute minefield so unless they’re about to cause chaos they get let be. Generally.

The Amish around here run the SMV triangle on back, but because of several accidents (rear ended)
Allot more are adding battery powered rear tails lights, and reflectors.
One buggy I saw, the owner used the red & white reflective tape on the axle, so it flashed as it rotated.

Not exactly sure what the category is. Mind you, I was driving tractors and trailers on the road about 35 years ago. I'm guessing yes.

It's very satisfying when you've got 8t of sand dumped at the bottom of the drive and you can scoop it up and drive it to the top.

I’d like to say I’d register it and I sure it etc. I’d like to, but what I’d actually do is just use it for the once a year I might go near a public highway and takes my chances
