Can anyone on here make me a metal swaged reducing pipe?

I need something like this and wonder if anyone on here could make it:

Mine needs to be 70mm (2.75") OD at one end and reduce to 38mm (1.5") OD at the other end. Length is not crucial but could be 5-7 inches long (whatever is easiest to make the rest work). I need the swaged ends as it needs to be fluid tight once the coupling pipes are connected up. It will have hydraulic oil in it so ali or steel ought to be fine - I dont mind.

I could attempt to do it myself welding different sections of pipe together but I am sure someone on here has the skills to do a better job than me and get it right first time. There seem to be people who will make reducers like this for exhausts but wont swage the ends. Similar off the shelf options exist but not in the sizes I want.

I am not after a freebie - happy to pay.

Farmcraft101 just made something similar but larger out of a large ~100mm solid rod. Made a lot of chips. Check out his video from last week. It's an option if you can't get it done any other way.

I don't have experience or a ready-made solution for this task. I thought a little and got down to business. Hopefully I'll finish on Tuesday. I hope from the first part of the video it is clear how I am trying to solve this problem. How would you solve this problem?

That could work as one of the exhaust manufacturers on ebay suggests they can make an adapter with the end dimensions I need.

The reducer he made before he welded it to the coupler is pretty much what i am after. Interestingly he is making it for hydraulic oil supply to the pump on his digger which is exactly what I want one for too (on a different type of digger!)

I started with silicone hose but I would need to go through three reducers and steel couplers, so I thought one steel reducing coupler would simplify things... apparently not easy though!! Most of the sites state that silicone isnt any good for permanent immersion in oil and even the fluorosilicone doesnt seem to like permanent contact.

Might be a last resort, but a viable one if i can find the pipe to work with. Not sure my welding is good enough to guarantee no leaks so could take me a while to manufacture. I am surprised I couldnt find anywhere on google who could make this!

now you could make a simple beading machine out of steel flat washers

I bought this little beading jenny on eBay last year although it was £84 so probably not something you’d want to buy for a one off job.
If you can get one of the exhaust companies to do the reducer but they’re not able to bead it your welcome send it to me I’ll bead it and send it on to you?

If you dont have any luck I could turn an unswaged reducer out of alu bar. I'll admit I dont know how or what fittings swaged couplers are used for.

The swage isn’t there for a fitting. It’s just provides a ridge so that when you fit a hose clamp on the inside edge it can’t pull off.

there is another way of making it by using the cone method

2 round circles welded onto a cone to reduce down to the required amount

1 tube of 70mm od and the other piece of tube at 38mm with the cone section inbetween then all you would have to do is swag the ridge inside of the tubes

@Tupers - if I get a reducer made up by these guys and send to you, do you think you could have at swaging it? Would the material they use work with your machine? It wouldn't need much - just enough to stop couplers slipping off
