thers no makers name on it and its 3 phase but running 415 volt now,weve often used it to burn off shafts ect over 1'' thick with no trouble ever!guess it weighs about 80kgs
I could be wrong but this was the Ferrari of welding sets in it's day. I think it is the much trumpeted Kemppi Dino Arc. Unlike Enzo Ferrari, Marti Kemppi named it after Fred Flintstones pet Rather than is son Jouko. It was originally Painted in Finnish racing beige but has obviously been previously owned by Rentarc. This machine was featured in the Welding tribune when the first UK distributor was appointed. I have a an old sepia picture somewhere of Bob Stacey ( Matt 1978's dad ) shaking hands on the deal. The wheel on top of the machine is to micro adjustment what Dawn French is to mico organism's.
Shame it does not have the optional on demand punka wallah. They have a better duty cycle and are so cool. Priceless.
