can any one tell me where i can get my cement mixer motor repaired , in the uk , its not the switch its taking current but just will not turn or what else could be the issue
They have a crossed helical gearbox, you cant turn the motor via the drum.if you spin the drum it will start to turn
as i did that with mine if its the capicitor

motor or drum??...The Belle mixer drums cant be turned as that's how we screw the drums on and offYou can my BiL's! In fact with a duff cap you can turn it by hand either direction and off it goes.
Is that 110v or 240 ?

thats what i would have thought myself but my capicitor had gone i couldnt turn when full of cement but i could turn it for washing out with water i just spint it the same way it would turn to mixmotor or drum??...The Belle mixer drums cant be turned as that's how we screw the drums on and off
that was my problem years ago just posting as its the 240v model with capacitorThat'll be the issue!
So you need a 25uF 250V capacitor but make sure it's motor rated.
Should just connect by spades. Aim for the same physical size.
