Hi Everyone,
This is my 1st ever post here! I've just bought a MIG welder on eBay and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the origins of it. It's a big, ugly, bruised & battered blue/grey beast. It has big "Weldrite" label down the side. The voltage/current label says it is a "Britweld 240A". Its a 240VAC single phase unit. I can't find any information on Weldrite or Britweld. Is it a rebadged/rebranded welder. Is it any good or have I bought a lemon?
Here's a link to the eBay photo... I haven't got round to taking any photos myself....

I bought it for 67 quid, knowing the wire feed does not work, so it was a bit of a calculated risk. I'm fairly handy with electrical issues. I've checked out the motor (it 24VDC) and this works OK. So I suspect it's a speed controller board fault. Anybody know where I can find spare parts? Have I wasted my time?
Many Thanks,
Andy
