legal wize the outside if doing any work needs papers signed to say its installed properly to comply with the regs now

same as kitchen and bathrooms see p certificate has to be signed off

if your doing the work your self install it to make sure its as safe as you can if its for your own use and if you move just take it out before selling but you are responceable if it herts any one and insurance can refuse to pay out if it causes a fire

you can get different armoured cable... I don't know the name for it... insidead of a rubber outer around the 3 cables it's essentially an aluminium tube

Pyro is copper sheathed, FP200 is Aluminium.

What about 2.5mm 2 Core & Earth BS8436 LSZH White Sure Earth Screened Cable
Was talking to someone who was using it a while back recon it saved a lot of time, and does not always need RCD protection as it meets the requirements for disconnection times and is metal sheathed.

I have the best part of 200M of 2.5mm fp200 left over from a job over twenty years ago, omly thing it is red and black so of no use to anyone these days.

As far as I was aware you can still use it on any jobs as long as you correctly identify the terminated ends to the new colours!
