What sort of cable could be used in a car port? The strip lights and outdoor sockets that I have are IP waterproof rated and have circular punchouts that take glands or round conduit tube.
The car port is attached to my garage which has its own consumer unit. It's a roofed area with two walls only, and the other two sides are open.
Plastic round conduit would be difficult to run compared to some sort of round cable.
I was in a cafe today which also had a semi outdoors area, and their sockets were fitted with glands and some sort of round cable. The cable was too stiff to be flex.
