cable connector

following on from my post about replacing the earth lead on my clarke 90 pro i now have some new cable (25mm2) but need to join it to the solid looking wire inside the welder.
where can i get the connector from, i have found terminals for the clamp end but need a connector to join the new cable to the solid copper looking wire inside.

looks ideal as long as a good tight fit and insulated

also found these, i can get hold of some shrink fit tubing to insulate the connection

Looks like that will carry the load just fine, but if you can, slip in a piece of copper or brass between the wire strands and the jacking screws before you giving them a really good tighten

i genraly wrap with wire.mainly on crimped conections but as gordon says copper plate stops the screws penetrating the cable and spreads the contact

i see what you mean. think i'll go for the brass screw type connector.
