Buying vwt4 1.9 mreg t4 front wings

Going to be ordering the above soon hopefully.
Seems to be two choices Just Kampers or Heritage parts.
Wondering if anyone has bought panels from either company and can offer any comments on quality, accuracy of pattern ect?
Or point me in the direction of any other source?

nice to know Stuvy.....
I have had panels from both and all wanted modification....
had full front panel for a T21/2.....I think it was copied from a smashed repaired vehicle....
what a peice of cr+p.....
think they get em from the same firm.....
real prob was stock, had to order from both to get most of the stuff
still had to make some repair panels because no stock for the forseeable future...
crazy.....

Had a t1 concourse 23 window in a few years back the custom and commercial front panel was practically flawless

none of the creased folded edges like a pie crust to deal with, granted there not hard but a pain to slow your day down

Going with Custom and commercial, had some good reviews.
Any opinions on what if anything I should lather on the inside of the panels for a bit of extra protection?

Attacked the van again today,the bottom lip of the inner wing arch folds under giving the outer wing something to bond too.
There's almost nothing left of it though..
I cut what was left of the rotten lip away and was hoping to fab a strip of steel to replace the lip.
This was beyond me, tried for ages with card templates but just couldn't get the angle and curve right.
Thought I would just weld two inch tabs along the edge instead,but struggled to butt weld too the old steel lip.
In the end made some angled tabs and tacked them on to the front of the inner wing.
I only had a little inverter arc welder, but turned down too 45a it stuck them on.
The inner wing is quite thick and I scrounge some 2mm sheet from a local fabshop skip.
Don't laugh, I haven't picked up a welder for 2years, I know.. Leave it longer..
Anyway after smacking with a fbh none fell off.
Larruped a load of primer on as I won't be able to touch it till next week but I'm a bit further along.

Cheers, I think the steel vw used 26 years ago helped, I'm going to slit one of the old wings and see how it tacks up at 45a its a good bit thicker that the Taiwan tin foil ones I've bought to replace them, be interesting to see if I could actually join an outer panel with this little welder if I could buy decent thicker panels.
